Steve Vorchheimer started collecting coins when he was seven years old.  By the time he was a teenager, he would take the train into New York to coin shows.  In 1988 he started his business part time.  And by 1995, he was a coin dealer full time. He travels to local shows in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Albany.  He also does the FUN (Florida United Numismatics) show in January, Baltimore 3-4 times a year, and this year did three Texas shows.

He belongs to the American Numismatic Association, The Texas Numismatic Association.  He is a NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) dealer.
